Help prisoners begin or strengthen a relationship with God and the Church

Oftentimes, the incarcerated use their time in prison to reflect on their lives and with God’s help, make amends for the way that they have victimized others.

As fellow Catholics, we can walk with them to support their spiritual transformation. We’ve made it easy and created three new ways (toolkits) for you to support and nurture the spiritual journey of our brothers and sisters behind bars.

These toolkits will help prisoners on their spiritual journey. This spiritual approach goes to the very heart of the matter – the need for God in the lives of all who have been affected by crime. In the end, the only true healing is spiritual, as God transforms suffering into victory as He did for Jesus.

Beginning now through October 31, 2022 we are asking for your help to please consider sponsoring one of these spiritual journey toolkits for prisoners who write to us requesting these materials.

Prayerful Practice Toolkit 1

For $10, you can provide a Catholic spiritual journey toolkit to a prisoner seeking to learn more about the Rosary and the Catholic prayers prisoners need to know as they renew their prayer life behind bars.
The Prayerful Practice Toolkit includes:

• Prayer Book (available in English or Spanish)
• Rosary
• The Secret of the Rosary Belief

Belief and Faith Toolkit 2

For $10, you can provide the Catechism of the Catholic Church to a prisoner seeking a more in-depth understanding of the belief and faith and practices of the Catholic Church.
The Belief and Faith Toolkit includes:

• Catechism of the Catholic Church (available in English or Spanish)

Reflection Toolkit 3

For $10, you can provide a set of five (5) Prayer Cards, displaying prisoner artwork, for a prisoner to reflect on their lives and renew their spiritual relationship with God and the Church. The Belief and Faith Toolkit includes:

• A set of five (5) prayer cards, displaying artwork created by prisoners. The prayers on the back of each card include; The Our Father, Our Lady of Guadalupe, a prayer for prisoners, a prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel and a prayer to our Father in Heaven.
