Please consider a special donation to support us at this time.

Because of you…our mission continues, despite these challenging times.

Because of you…we provide for the spiritual needs of the imprisoned.

Because of you…we give hope to those who despair.

You have been walking with us as a partner in mission at Dismas Ministry. And, you know that we provide Catholic resources to prisoners and their chaplains at no cost whenever possible. Without you, we could not carry out this work of mercy.

I did not want to write this letter. I did not want to share this news today. But, we need help to get closer to our fundraising goal for this fiscal year, which ends June 30, if we are to continue our mission model: providing Catholic bibles, prayer books, and study courses free of charge.

First of all, I’m asking that you remember us, and those we serve, in your prayers. This is paramount. During these difficult days, we must remember the needs of the most vulnerable among us, which always includes the imprisoned.

Because of their additional isolation during this pandemic, we have seen an uptick in requests from prisoners. While correctional facilities have suspended visits from family members and prison ministers, inmates can still send and receive mail. And, we are doing our best to keep pace with all requests for our materials.

Next, I am inviting you to consider a special donation to support us at this time. A gift of $25, $50, $75 or $100 would make a positive difference. Please know that a gift of any amount will help us complete our work and touch the hearts and souls of prisoners who need our support.

They rely on us. We rely on you.

Thank you for your consideration of this request, and any help you can offer us at this time. You are in our grateful prayers. Please stay safe.

With gratitude and peace,

Ms. Tyler Curtis
Executive Director
