Each piece in this moving exhibit explores profound themes of freedom, confinement, resilience, and self-expression, offering a glimpse into the lives, hopes, and journeys of those often unheard and unseen.
As a special highlight, the event will feature a dedicated exhibit of the latest volume of I Am Beautiful: A Book of Art, Poems, and Stories by and for Women in Prison. This remarkable collection reflects the voices, struggles, and triumphs of women navigating the challenges of incarceration, offering a deeply personal and inspiring perspective. Dismas Ministry and the Ignatian Volunteer Corps are two mission-driven organizations rooted in service to marginalized communities.
